1. The student must behave nicely with their companions and show respect towards teachers, staff of the school.
2. Students must maintain discipline of the school strictly. They must maintain silence in and around school campus and speak in a low voice. They should never be found violating school rules.
3. For long absence from school, prior permission must be taken from the Principal in writing. For every absence, the students should briefly note down the reason in their diary duly signed by their parents. Before rejoining the school after a long absence of leave, he/she must first meet the Principal and submit the application. Grant of leave is absolutely at the Principal's discretion. Leave shall not be granted unless the reason is found genuine.
4. No student is allowed to leave school premises during school hours without a prior written application from the parents/ guardians stating the genuine reason.
5. Students must come neat and tidy in their proper school uniform.
6. No students should bring any book, magazine or any other objectionable article in the school that are against the school discipline.
7. Every student must treat the school property with care. Any damage caused to school property has to be made good by them.
8. Prefects and Monitors are to perform their duties and responsibility with utmost sincerity. Any disturbing situation that they find out must be brought to the immediate notice of the HOD/Principal, All Students must co-operate and obey them.
9. Every student must carry out his/her duty and obey the orders given to them by the house teachers of their respective Houses.
10. Each and every student must be present in every programme or school function. Without prior application for leave (from parent/authorized guardian) no one will remain absent in any of the school event.
11. Parents/Authorized Guardians are not allowed to see their children during school hours except in cases of an emergency for which permission must be sought from the Principal.
12. VISITING HOURS:
(1) Parents/Authorized Guardians are required to record their names in the Visitor's Register.
(2) Parents/Visitors can meet the Principal/Teacher (on prior appointment) on Monday to Friday between 12:00 am to 02:00 pm.
(3) Parents/Guardians can meet (if required) the Class/Subject Teacher for discussing the progress of their children for Constructive suggestion-
Every Saturday between 10:00 am-02:00 pm.
Every last working day of the month between 11:30 to 02:00 pm.
(4) LKG, UKG parents can meet the teachers-
Every Fourth Saturday- 08:00 am-01:30p.m.
Every Friday-01:30-02:00p.m.
Every last working day of the month between 11:30 Noon-02:00p.m.
13. EXAMINATION RULES:
(i) As per school rules, every student should have 75% attendance compulsory before taking the Session Ending Examination.
(1) No permission will be given for any student to skip Unit Test/Assignment Test/Cumulative Test etc. which is a part of school examination bye-laws, Any genuine medical cases should be accompanied with Medical Certificate issued by Government Doctors/Army Doctors, to avoid submission of fraudulent medical certificate.
(iii) For practical/project base subjects, It is necessary to pass in the theory and the practical exam separately.
14. ADMISSION:
Admission is made in the school throughout the session as per the IAF Education Code in order to facilitate the admission to the children of AF personnel coming on transfer from out station, subject to the stipulation of rules laid down by the CBSE in classes IX-XII and vacancies present. Admissions are extended to children of different categories as per the rule laid down by the AFS, ECS giving preference to children whose parents are posted in the local AF station.
15. WITHDRAWAL:
Request for Transfer Certificate will be made in writing by the parents/guardians of the students concerned in prescribed form. Every request should be accompanied by clearance certificate submitted at least 7 days before obtaining, i.e. No Fee is charged for the issue of TC. A pupil who has once left the school shall not normally be re-admitted. No T.C will be issued within three (03) months from the date of admission in the school.
